Solar cell system installation

Mori Natural Farm, Chiang Mai

Mori Natural Farm Located in Pong Yaeng Subdistrict, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province. The current daily electricity consumption here is nearly 1,000 units and is expected to increase to 1,800 units per day when Mori Phase 3 is fully operational. Due to the forest environment, the electricity provided by Provincial Electricity Authority is insufficient for usage, resulting in frequent, prolonged outages each day. Sometimes, the power goes out for several days consecutively (3-5 days) during the rainy season. Voltage drops to 60 volts from 220 volts, causing frequent appliance failures and affecting customer service in the guest rooms.

In this case, Addtech Solar has designed a 120kWp solar system with a set of 600-unit backup batteries to ensure sufficient power throughout the night. Due to the space limitations, the numbers of solar panels installation cannot meet the daily electricity demand of 1,000 units, therefore the installation of AC charge system is necessary.
